Article deals with definition of conformity and presentation of results of research of conformal behaviour of University of Zilina students. Aim of research was confirmation of presumption, that conformal or no conformal behaviour of students is affected by season of university study. Results of research showed significant differences between answers of men and women. Woman tend to be more conformal and men tend to by less conformal. Then the article presents analysis of sex as determinant of conformal behaviour. Besides that, we tested also relations between several phenomena. Our assumptions were formulated into hypotheses, which were statistically tested. Chi square was applied to determine relationship between selected phenomena. Then the quality of relations was tested by correlation coefficient (Phi-coefficient, Cramer V-coefficient). Extremely strong correlation did prove in neither case, but we identified two cases of moderate to substantial correlations.conformity, nonconformity, behaviour, students, research, obedience
