Demanding of ethical requirements in public administration is currently one of the most discussed issues connected with the ethics in public administration. The presented study regarding challenges connected with the organizational context of public administration ethics concentrates its attention on importance of ethical instances. Besides that, the part of contribution is focused on the consideration of organizational dimension of ethics mentioned in the international organizations documents. The core of presented contribution is concentrated on the current practice of ethical instances with an emphasis on cities in the condition of the Slovak Republic.
