Journal publishes original theoretical and empirical articles. All articles are blind peer-reviewed.

Formal instructions for manuscripts:
abstract: 800 – 900 characters (in English only)
article: 22 000 – 36 000 characters
review: 8 000 – 15 000 characters
keywords: 6 – 8 (in English only)

Type of script:
Times New Roman 11 (main text), 12 (title), simple spacing, number of characters including spaces.
Please, do not separate words, pages should be numbered, the list of the references should be at the end of the article in alphabetical order, use in quotations (surname of author, year, page), example (Cloke 2006, 19), for notes if necessary use Footnotes.
Send please your manuscripts online in WORD format document.

Submissions:
Publishing with Sociology and Society journal is free of any charge. All contributions undergo external blind peer-review process.
All submitted articles have to be accompanied with abstract and up to six or eight key words, title of contribution and personal data: name(s) of the author(s), address of institution, email address, work position, skills and expertise.
Abstract should provide accurate summary including the rationale for the article, methods employed (if relevant), findings and conclusions drawn.
Articles, studies and reviews are accepted in Slovak, Czech, Polish and English languages. All authors are completely responsible for the content of their contributions.

Deadlines for submitting the manuscripts: April, 10 and October, 10

The Publisher provides publication of all papers (articles or reviews) in Sociológia a spoločnosť/Sociology and society journal and based on that author pledges to abandon a claim to reward in accordance with the law on authorial rights and rights related to Copyright Act No. 618/2003.
